Operations Research Developers (f/m)
As an algorithm expert you will develop and implement optimisation procedures for resource planning of ground clearance at airports. Your field of responsibility will comprise the analysis of technical requirements as well as abstraction and model development. New and further development of optimisation procedures, based on methods of operations research and artificial intelligence, including validation and tuning of developed procedures, will be a focal point.
You will be part of an experienced development team at our Head Office in Aachen. Developed solutions are being used around the world at airports, clearance agencies and airlines. Besides the practical application of the most modern optimisation procedures, the position offers numerous opportunities of active participation and in view of continuous company growth, there are many perspectives of personal development.
We expect a completed course of studies, very good command of the German language, and knowledge of optimisation procedures, e.g. integer linear programming or constraint programming as well as C++ programming procedures. Experience in the field of resource scheduling, e.g. as diploma thesis or dissertation would carry a lot of weight. In addition we expect analytical and communication skills.
