"After completing my studies in physics, I found INFORM while looking for interesting companies in the software sector. I started here as project assistant in April 2001. From 2002 I was responsible for the handling of important projects. Since April 2005, I manage the business sector Industry. I am responsible for all projects and for the sales targets of the business sector. Together with a team of consultants and developers, I mainly care for customers in the automotive and chemical industry."

What is so special to you about INFORM?
I work in a pleasant environment, characterised by co-operativeness and flat hierarchies. This quickly allowed me to present my ideas and to take responsibility.

How were you accepted at INFORM?
I was well taken care of from the first day, and prepared for my tasks. Contact with the new colleagues was very warm right from the beginning, making me feel integrated very soon.

Which aspects do you find particularly challenging in your job?
Project work is very challenging for me. As a result of the diverse requirements of our customers, we are continuously looking for new, creative solutions.

What does your typical working day look like?
Besides managing current projects, I am also responsible for acquiring new customers. In this respect I reply to calls for tenders, compile tenders and prepare marketing measures like exhibitions and workshops. Besides this I give presentations to interested parties and conduct tender and contract negotiations. Furthermore we have regular meetings, where we attend to the strategic further development of our products.

What are your career goals?
I would like to achieve a broader positioning of our software in the market place by consistent and extensive further development.
